Section 1: Who We Are & How It Works
-
Practice Elements + Co. is designed for fully licensed clinicians who value both clinical excellence and a well-run, thoughtfully supported practice.
Our members are independent practitioners who want to focus on their work with clients while knowing the operational side of their practice is equipped with the necessary infrastructure for compliance. They value autonomy—but also appreciate having reliable systems, professional structure, and a trusted community behind them.
If you are building or maintaining a private practice and want support without surrendering independence, you are likely a good fit.
-
We do not provide physical office space. Instead, we support clinicians wherever they choose to practice—virtually, in person, or through a hybrid model.
Our focus is on the systems, infrastructure, and operational resources that allow your practice to run smoothly, regardless of location.
-
No. You retain full clinical autonomy and ownership of your practice.
Practice Elements + Co. exists to support—not direct—your work. We provide the framework, tools, and operational resources that allow you to practice with confidence, clarity, and independence.
How you like and/or prefer to administer your practice is your decision and responsibility.
-
We provide infrastructure, well-tested systems, and operational support. We do not provide clinical supervision, clinical direction, or business coaching unless otherwise specified. Administrative responsibilities related to your specific practice remain under your direction and control.
-
You do. Client records, documentation, and practice data always remain yours. Practice Elements + Co. does not claim ownership or access beyond what is required to support the systems you choose to use.
-
Your practice, data, and client relationships always remain yours. Should you choose to move on, we simply ask for reasonable notice and will support a smooth, professional transition.
-
At this time, Practice Elements + Co. does not provide clinical supervision or licensing support.
PC+E is designed to serve fully licensed clinicians who are already practicing independently. That said, some of our members may supervise within their own practices. Please visit our Member Directory to review individual bios.
Section 2: The Revenue Equation | Financials
-
No. Your clinical income is always yours.
You set your fees and you retain 100% of your revenue. Practice Elements + Co. does not participate in revenue sharing or percentage-based models.
-
PE+C operates on a flat monthly membership model, rather than revenue sharing. This allows you to know your monthly costs and grow your practice without your costs increasing as your caseload grows.
There are two membership offerings — Select and Signature— each designed to support different stages of practice and levels of visibility. Both options provide a compliant operational foundation, with additional branding, visibility, and support available with the Signature membership.
Specific pricing is shared during a complimentary consultation so we can ensure the best fit for your goals and practice needs.
-
Select Membership provides access to the core infrastructure required to run a modern, compliant private practice, including:
HIPAA-compliant systems and workflows
Secure communication and scheduling tools
Professional-grade operational infrastructure
Access to shared resources and best practices
Signature Membership includes additional visibility and brand-forward support, such as:
A featured profile on the Practice Elements + Co. website
Enhanced online presence and referral visibility
Access to branding tools, templates, and shared assets
Opportunities for deeper professional connection and collaboration
All clinicians remain fully independent, regardless of your type of membership.
-
You remain fully in control of how you accept payment from your clients.
We recommend, and many clinicians choose to use Jane Payments, which is fully integrated into the EHR and allows clients to pay securely by credit or debit card, with automated receipts and documentation. This option offers convenience and seamless recordkeeping, but it is not required.
If you prefer, you may use a separate payment system of your choosing—such as an external processor, check, cash, or other accepted methods—and simply record the payment in Jane for your records.
Practice Elements + Co. does not collect or manage client payments. Our role is to provide the infrastructure and flexibility that allows you to choose the payment process that best fits your practice.
-
If you choose to process client payments through Jane Payments, standard Stripe processing fees apply (currently 2.85% + $0.25 per transaction). These fees are set by Stripe and passed through directly. PE+C does not profit from these charges.
As mentioned previously, you are also free to accept payment through other methods—such as check or cash—and simply record those payments in Jane if you prefer.
-
Yes. Both Select and Signature members may add insurance claim submission through Jane. This feature is available as an optional add-on and is passed through at cost (currently $15/month).
We’re happy to walk you through how this works and help you determine whether it fits your practice model.
-
Only in ways that simplify it.
You maintain full control over your fees, policies, financial, and business decisions. Our role is to provide the systems and structure that make running your practice easier—not to dictate how you operate.
Section 3: The Operations Formula | Technology & Tools
-
Membership includes access to a thoughtfully selected set of tools designed to support a modern private practice, including:
Jane App for scheduling, documentation, and billing
Spruce Health for secure communication
Google Workspace for professional email, storage, and video
Shared resources and best practices
These tools are selected to work together seamlessly, reducing friction and administrative burden.
-
No. You retain flexibility in how you use the systems provided. However we do recommend that you make certain that any systems you use are HIPAA-compliant and are set up properly.
Many clinicians appreciate having an integrated, ready-to-use setup, while others choose to use only the components that best support their workflow. Our role is to provide structure and options—not to dictate how you practice.
-
Most clinicians find that it simplifies their workflow.
The goal is to reduce the number of decisions you need to make around technology, compliance, and operations—so you can spend more time focused on clients and less time managing systems.
-
Yes. If you choose to use online scheduling with your clients, it is designed to be simple and professional.
Signature Members have a featured profile on the Practice Elements + Co. website or may link scheduling through their own custom domain.
Select Members receive a dedicated Jane booking link with a personalized profile, which can be shared directly with clients.
In both cases, clients can schedule easily while you maintain full control over availability and policies.
-
Yes. You have flexible options depending on how you prefer to work.
Google Meet is included through your HIPAA-compliant Google Workspace and can be used for both individual and group sessions.
Jane App also offers group video functionality as an optional add-on for those who prefer to keep everything within one platform.
Both options integrate seamlessly into your workflow and meet privacy standards.
-
Spruce Health is included because it offers a level of security and professionalism that standard phone services do not.
Many clinicians begin with tools like Google Voice or a separate business phone, and for basic calling those options may work well. However, even with small practices, secure client communication becomes increasingly important.
Spruce Health was selected because it offers end-to-end encrypted messaging, allowing for secure text communication that meets HIPAA standards. This is a key distinction. Unlike standard phone or messaging platforms, Spruce is designed specifically for healthcare communication, making it possible to communicate efficiently while maintaining appropriate privacy protections.
Spruce also supports calling, secure messaging, and number portability—so if you already have an established number, it can typically be transferred without disruption to your clients.
For a deeper look at how Spruce compares to commonly used alternatives, we’ve written a detailed overview here → Google Voice vs. Spruce Health

Section 4: Identity | Visibility & Branding
-
The Featured Web Profile is available to Signature Members and is designed to provide a polished, professional presence within the Practice Elements + Co. ecosystem.
Your profile includes your photo, bio, and direct scheduling link, and appears on the Practice Elements + Co. website as part of our directory. For clinicians who already have a personal website, this profile also serves as a high-quality backlink—supporting visibility and searchability without requiring additional effort on your part.
It’s a simple way to enhance your professional presence while remaining aligned with your own brand and practice identity.
-
Practice Elements + Co. is designed to complement—not replace—your existing brand.
If you already have a website or established presence, your Featured Profile simply enhances visibility and credibility while directing clients back to your primary site. If you are just starting to build your brand, the tools and structure provided help ensure your practice presents as polished, professional, and cohesive from the start. For some clinicians, the featured profile on the PE+C website may be all they need.
-
Yes—professional identity and consistency matter.
All Select and Signature Members receive a professional Practice Elements + Co. email address (yourname@practiceelements.com), providing a polished and secure point of contact.
Signature Members may also connect a custom domain (yourname@yourpractice.com), allowing their email to fully reflect their individual practice brand.
Both options are designed to maintain credibility, continuity, and ease of communication—without requiring you to manage technical setup on your own.
